One of the greatest golf sporting events is the Ladies Professional Golf Tours that are played in several states in the US and also other countries such as Australia and even Japan. This tour was started in 2000 and this tour shows off the best of senior lady golfers. There have been 86 major championship games played so far with winnings reaching 14 million in award money over the 15 seasons of golf play. The Ladies Senior Golf tour has over 120 competitors and several on the tour are Hall of Fame worldwide members.
One of the tours coming up as soon as August 15th is the Wendy’s Charity Classic and there are expected to have at least 25 or more of the best Ladies Professional golfers attend the event to help raise money for the Dave Thomas Foundation that sponsors foster care and adoptions. Competitors in this event will be 45 years of age or older. The Tour is always looking for some Volunteers to help at and you get the chance to meet some of these Legends of Lady golf.
Next on the tour is the Legend of Champions that will be hosted at the beautiful golf course in French Lick Indiana. The golf course is set in a scenic view of rolling wooded hills at the French Lick Resort that offers first class lodging, great elegant dining, and a wonderful Casino. This terrific golf course was designed by Pete Dye and just last year the tour raised 150,000 in charity for the Riley Children’s Hospital. This event will start on August 18th and go through to the 21st with Juli Inkster will be playing to defend her Title. This golfing event promises to be well worth attending with the beautiful scenic views that are breath-taking, first class food and accommodations and you can bet the play will be a wonder to enjoy.
