LPGA Event Two members of the Duramed FUTURES Tour will be in the field of the LPGA's first 2010 tournament, the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand. Bangkok native Virada Nirapathpongporn and Nontaya Srisawang of Chiang Mai, Thailand, will be among the 60 players in next week's tournament field. The event will be held Feb. 18-21, at Siam Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand. ![]()
Tour Gets Upgrade In
World Rankings Points Members of the Duramed FUTURES Tour will benefit this year from some modifications made in 2009 by the rankings board and the technical committee for the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings. Modifications will be made to strength-of-field calculations on five women's world tours, plus the Duramed FUTURES Tour. Ranked No. 188th, Australian Kristie Smith is currently the developmental tour's top-ranked player heading into the 2010 season. ![]()

First Lady's Initiative Duramed FUTURES Tour alumna Leta Lindley has pledged her support for First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign to end childhood obesity. An LPGA Tour winner and mother of two, Lindley plans to be an active participant in the campaign to affect childhood obesity within a generation.
Naree Song Becomes A Coach At
Rollins College Duramed FUTURES Tour winner Naree Song became a coach on the women’s golf team at Rollins College this week. Song joined the coaching staff at the school based in Orlando, Fla.
